Psalms 134 GNV
Summary: The final and shortest of the Songs of Ascents, a brief call-and-response exchange likely used at the close of a temple night watch: "Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD" (v. 1). Worshippers are urged to "lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD" (v. 2), and the psalm closes with what seems to be the priests' answering blessing on the pilgrims: "The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion" (v. 3).
1A song of degrees. Behold, praise ye the Lord, all ye seruants of the Lord, ye that by night stande in the house of the Lord.
2Lift vp your hands to the Sanctuarie, and praise the Lord.
3The Lord, that hath made heauen and earth, blesse thee out of Zion.
