Psalms 133 WBT
Summary: A brief Song of Ascents attributed to David, celebrating communal harmony: "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" (v. 1). It illustrates this unity with two striking images — precious oil poured on Aaron's head and running down his beard onto his garments, and dew from Mount Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion (v. 2-3) — both signifying abundant blessing flowing outward. It closes noting that it was there, in that unity, that "the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore" (v. 3).
1A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2[It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garment;
3As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for ever.
